Meet The Team
Amanda has combined her love of fitness with her love of dance and has created Grind2Fit. She is passionate about making sure that Grind2Fit is a safe place for men and women to come and workout free from judgement. Amanda has been in the fitness industry since 1999 and holds an NAFC Group Fitness Certification.
Scott works alongside of Amanda and helps run Grind2Fit. He may not be on the stage dancing (although that would be entertaining for sure), but he is an integral part of the Grind2Fit business. Scott develops marketing plans, production plans and all aspects of digital media for Grind2Fit.
Sydney has been dancing with Amanda for over two years and is a Grind2Fit Instructor. Sydney was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Music Therapy. Sydney is engaged to her fiancee, James, and works as a nanny. Sydney holds an NAFC Group Fitness Certification.
Karen is a high energy Grind2Fit Instructor and comes with 4 years experience teaching her own class. Karen is married and a mom of 2 boys. She graduated from Cincinnati State where she majored in Chemical Technology. She currently works as a Scientist at P&G. Karen holds an NAFC Group Fitness Certification.
Marybeth has been a dancer since the age of 5! She was a cheerleader and dancer for Turpin High School. Marybeth graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education. She has been married for 27 years and has 3 boys. When she isn't dancing with us, Marybeth is a Department Manager at Nordstrom.
Kristi is a busy mom of 2 beautiful girls! Kristi began her journey with Grind2Fit as our Stretching Instructor and is now also helping out as a backup dancer. Kristi was a high school cheerleader and loves to dance! Kristi works full time and as an Optometric Technician/Contact Lens Manager. Kristi holds an NAFC Group Fitness Certification.
Kristen is a wife and mom of 2 littles! She earned her degree in Applied Health Sciences using her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Kristen was a cheerleader at Glen Este Middle/High School and taught cheer/tumble and gymnastics for 8 years. Kristen leads the stretching on Saturday mornings prior to class! Kristen holds an NAFC Group Fitness Certification.
Samantha "Sam" is the front desk face of Grind2Fit! Sam literally does it all around the Barn! Sam started coming to Grind2Fit as a member in September of 2017. Since beginning her fitness journey with us, Sam has lost a total of 85 pounds and is an inspiration to so many in class. She's personally been affected by the GrindTribe and is a perfect fit for our front desk. Sam is an Assistant Store Manager at Kroger and also holds an NAFC Group Fitness Certification.
Johnna is a wife, mom to three, and entrepreneur who has always had a love for dance. Johnna cheered and danced from childhood through college, including dancing on a hip-hop team at Ohio University, cheering for Northern Kentucky University, doing both for a local semi-pro team, and a short stint as a Zumba Instructor. Johnna and her husband, Chris, work from home on their podcast (Grow Yourself Grow Your Marriage) and personal development coaching. Meet The Yoga Instructors
Julie (aka Jules) loves sports, hiking, boating, kayaking, Kate Spade & blaring old school rap in the school pickup line. She is a married momma of four and designated Chaos Coordinator in her home. She is a former competitive cheerleader and currently a youth cheerleading coach. Yoga is her own personal outlet for the crazy pace of her life. She is a certified 200 hour YT & currently pursuing certification in Kids & HIIT yoga.
Vicki was transplanted to Cincinnati from San Antonio Texas 9 years ago. She is a mother to three adult daughters all living in different cities. Vicki began her relationship with Yoga in 2003, certified through YogaFit’s level one training. Vicki is an active enthusiast with strong running history, (3:30 marathoner) spinning instructor and devoted dog walker.
